Nabil Elderkin moved to Australia from Chicago when he was 2 years old, growing up there he became interested in surfing and began to take photographs of the surfing scene. At age 17 he move back to Chicago with his mother and studied photography and he began to take photos at concerts and music bands.
He befriended a relatively unknown rapper names Kanye West. Feeling the vibe of potential from this young rapper he took the initiative to buy the domain name www.kanyewest.com. Then Kanye signed a multi million dollar record deal with Roc-a-fella records. Kanye's 'people' want the domain name www.kanyewest.com, so Elderkin proposed a deal. he didn't want any money, all he wanted was the chance to have a photoshoot with the young Kanye.
This was the photo shoot which established Elderkin, who since then has worked with Kanye as his official photographer, being a huge part of his 'Glow in the dark tour'.
On music videos, Nabil has worked with the best artists in the worlds, including The Arctic Monkeys, Kanye West, John Legend and many more.
